Back in May all of our Grace Gathering sites and including New Life Church of God made 18-month pledges totaling $1,080,000. To date, we have received $236,000, which is around 20% of the total.
For everyone who made a pledge, you should have received an update on your personal pledge 6 weeks ago and will get an email every two months throughout the campaign giving you ongoing updates. Thank you all for your sacrifice and generosity!
The money pledged was for a church plant in Haiti and a Family Training Center in the Oxford neighborhood.
Oxford Neighborhood
The Family Training center in the 06 area code where Grace Central and New Life meet is a much longer vision but the first step is in motion as a new non-profit is being formed between leaders of both churches called the Oxford Dream Center. This new non-profit will oversee this new initiative. Here is a picture of the first board meeting taken last month
Also, three weeks ago Grace Central and New Life launched their Sunday morning services together, now taking place every Sunday. God is building a partnership between the two churches with a shared mission that will bless so many people.
Haiti
Please pray as Pastor Patrice, Rosemund, and their family are moving to Cap Haitian now to launch this new church.
