Advent Prayer Guide
As we go through advent this year, we want to spend time preparing our hearts and minds as we anticipate of the arrival of Jesus! One way that we will be doing this is through a daily prayer guide, starting December 15th.
Each short devotional reflects on how various Christmas songs invite us deeper into worship. Every entry is written by a different person in our church family and was edited by Stephanie Tennant. We have both digital and print versions available, as well as translations in Spanish and Haitian Creole.
This prayer guide will be available at all three sites over the next few Sundays. You can also find the guide on our Grace Gathering app.
Advent Art Show
(Grace Gathering North)
What if every single member of the Parkview Y (and people in the community!) could take a moment to slow down, encounter the Good News about Advent, and perhaps even be moved to prayer and worship?
During the month of December, Grace Gathering North is hosting the Honest Advent Art Show by Scott Erikson in the Parkview Y. Fifteen art pieces will be on display, illustrating key aspects of the Christmas story. Each icon is accompanied by a short devotional reading, drawing people into deeper reflection.
How can you participate?
First, please be praying that God will use this experience to bring hope, wonder, and healing to people in our community. Second, stop by any time during the week and experience it yourself! You don’t even have to be a member, and you can even invite someone to go through it with you!
