Oxford Dream Center gets a program director!

FOR THE SAKE OF OTHERS

We have exciting news regarding our For The Sake of Others stewardship campaign, this time for the Oxford Dream Center!

FTSOO is our spiritual journey of faith and sacrifice to see God move through a church plant in Haiti and a family training center in southeast Fort Wayne at our New Grace location. Currently, our church building in Haiti is making great progress and has over 100 refugees from the southern part of the country living there.

Today, we are thrilled to announce that Drew Woodson has been hired as the program director for the Oxford Dream Center!

Drew will be leading Soccer Thursdays with New Grace, help build relationships in the 06 area code in the Oxford neighborhood, and begin developing new programming that will help meet the children and family needs of the Oxford neighborhood.

We are so excited. Drew is a visionary leader, long-time resident of Fort Wayne, works for Fort Wayne community schools, and has been very involved in coaching sports in the area. Drew and his wife ShaVaughn have three kids.

Grace Maconochie Gap Year

Additionally, we are sadly saying “goodbye for now” to Grace Maconochie as she embarks on a gap year dedicated to observing and participating in expressions of movemental prayer across the UK and US.

Grace has spent the past several years on our Communication Team, in addition to other roles like North site middle school ministry, churchwide young adults, and many prayer and worship endeavors. She’s always led missional communities (youth and young adult) out of her home and discipled others to do the same, including working directly with many in the homeless community.

Please be praying for her as she seeks the Lord’s heart this next year!

Spontaneous Pool Party this Sunday (July 9)

NORTH

Join us this Sunday for a spontaneous summer pool party at the Booth’s house (318 Barouche Place, Fort Wayne, 46845)! Hot dogs provided, bring a side or dessert AND lawn chairs. Not only will this be a fun time to connect as a church, it will also be an opportunity to meet and greet with the Tennant family and hear their story! (This is especially great for students and parents!) Hope to see you there!

Kids + Families Summer Trip

CHURCHWIDE

Join us for Two days and one night of retreat at Camp Michindoh! July 16/17 we will be camping together with fun activities including a lake, putt-putt, disc golf, a mud pit, hiking, high ropes course, zipline, and extreme slip-n-slide! We will also have gathered times together of teaching and worship. For more info go here.

Worship Nights With Gospel House

Through the months of June and July we will be partnering with Gospel House to have weekly ‘Presence Nights’ on Sunday evenings. This is an opportunity to worship the Lord, minister to one another, and encounter His presence. Everyone is welcome! 5-7pm
