Baptisms (Mar 10)
East
Grace Gathering East is celebrating baptisms on March 10th! Baptism is going public about your faith in Jesus and communicating to the world your heartfelt commitment to following Him. It’s an important act of obedience that God’s Spirit rewards in a very special and personal way. If you feel you would like to take this important step of faith, sign up here.
After Service Brunch (Mar 17)
North
Join us on March 17 for another after-service carry-in brunch! Bring a brunch dish to share, and we will eat a meal together directly following the service.
Easter Eggstravaganza (Mar 17)
North
This Easter, we are partnering with the Parkview YMCA for our Easter Eggstravaganza! This is a children’s event for ages 0-11 and will include lots of games, prizes, and an Easter Egg Hunt! This will be at 1:00-3:00pm at the Parkview YMCA. We are in need of volunteers and prize donations, so reach out to kyle.tennant@gracegathering.com for questions!
Naturally Supernatural (Mar 23)
Churchwide
As we follow Jesus, we know we’re called to imitate Him in every way—but that leaves some of us wondering, “What about the miraculous things Jesus did? Should we imitate those things, too? Is that even possible? Is it biblical?”
We’re excited to offer a workshop that answers just those questions. Whether you’ve been following Jesus for decades or just a short while, or whether you are totally comfortable with the miraculous (or totally uncomfortable) you’ll find this biblical, simple introduction to hearing God and healing will encourage you and challenge you in life-changing ways.
The workshop will include various segments, such as times of teaching input, Q&A, worship, small group processing, times of training, and personal application (as well as breaks and lunch).
This is the second in a series of four workshops we’ll be hosting in the coming months. Here is a quick glance at the title of each workshop:
- Living a Naturally Supernatural Life
- Hearing God
- Healing and the Spiritual Gifts
- Spiritual Warfare
New Grace Vision Casting (Mar 24)
New Grace
At 1:00pm, following the service, Pastor Steve will share the vision with everyone-ministry leaders, ministry team and anyone who comes and wants to be on a ministry team. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall.
Women’s Evening Bible Study (Mar 25)
Churchwide
How can we hold onto assurance of our faith?
How can we discern the truth from a lie?
How can we know God loves us?
We will be tackling these questions in our Women’s Evening Bible Study, starting Monday, March 25 at 7:00-8:30. We will meet for 9 weeks at Grace Gathering East and end on Monday, May 20, 2024. This study is open to women from all sites and guests.
In this 10-session Bible study on the letters of 1, 2, and 3, John, Jen Wilkin’s “Abide” will help you see how, two thousand years later, his words call to similarly challenged Christians to recall our great salvation and to abide in the truth.
The books are available here:
Easter Eggstravaganza (Mar 30)
East
Easter Eggstravaganza is a children’s and family event where we have games and activities to celebrate Easter! We will have a ball drop event, where kids collect balls to then trade in for prizes! Our goal is to have time to gather together as families and invite friends and neighbors to join us for a fun event for our kids!
We also are asking our church congregation to donate candy and come join us to welcome families from our community!
Easter Weekend (Mar 29-31)
Churchwide
Join us as we consider the love of God displayed in the death of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Good Friday Service: Friday, March 29
Walk through the events of Good Friday, experiencing its sights and smells from 6:00-7:00. Then stay for a reflective worship service during which we’ll meditate on God’s love for us from 7:00-8:00. We cannot wait to spend this holy moment together as a spiritual family, preparing to celebrate the resurrection.
Easter Sunday: Sunday, March 31
Join us for service on Easter Sunday at the three sites. We will worship and celebrate Christ miraculously overcoming death and rising from the grave. This year’s theme is “Return to the Garden.” We will look at the resurrection through the eyes of Mary Magdeline and her experience at the empty tomb.
